In any emergency situation, it is best to get your pet medical attention as soon as possible. We accept all emergency cases during regular office hours. After regular office hours, our phone lines will connect you to the Veterinary Medical Centre in Saskatoon which offers 24 hour emergency assistance. If it is possible to call our hospital prior to your arrival please do so at (306) 933-2677. This will allow us to prepare for your arrival, and may provide valuable, life saving minutes.

Emergency situations vary greatly in their presentation and can require a wide range of treatments. However, when arriving at our practice with your pet in an emergency situation you can expect the following:

Immediate assistance by one of our veterinary team members
Prompt, priority assessment of the condition of your pet

Please know that emergency situations often require that a pet be taken to our treatment and hospitalization area. This means that your pet may be taken away from you for emergency treatment, while one of our veterinary office assistants gathers your information and relevant history. We will reunite you with your pet as soon as possible, and keep you updated on exactly what is happening while your pet is away from you.
