Erin Davis

My love of animals started at a young age when my family got our first dog, Shadow, and grew from there with two more dogs over the years. My parents always made sure I was a big part of taking care of our pets, and even encouraged me to practice dog sports like agility with them. I have had many other types of pets growing up, such as guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish and hermit crabs. I even learned to ride horses! With all this experience, I knew my future career had to involve animals. I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Animal Bioscience as well as my Master of Science in Large Animal Clinical Sciences at the U of S. Since attending university, I have gained experience in working with both dairy cattle and pigs. I am currently completing the Veterinary Technician program.

I joined the MVH team in November 2018, and I have learned so much in the time I have been apart of this clinic. It is so cool to see all the different types of animals that come in, from guinea pigs to Great Danes. It is never a dull moment, and I am so thankful for each of my co-workers, who teach me something new every day. Everyone is so welcoming, patient, and kind, and I am so grateful they gave me such an opportunity. I now have my own dogs, Sven and Chowder, and I know that if anything were to ever happen to them, they would be in good hands here!
